The National Africa Foundation is committed to the long-term wellness and the vitality of Africa. To that end, we want to introduce our recent educational initiative. Our desire is to facilitate the opportunity for Africans to obtain a university level education. In seeking to do so, we are pursuing partnerships with community colleges located in the United States who offer online learning 2-year degree programs. As an organization, the NAF will serve as the liaison for students and educational institutions to partner to complete the first two years of their university education in Africa. Then, in phase two, the student from Africa will relocate to the United States to complete the remaining 2 years of their undergraduate degrees.

The NAF's desire is to provide guidance and support which will enable students to transition seamlessly from the virtual coursework at the community college level to the remainder of their undergraduate work at the 4-year university. The NAF will also act as a liaison to assist you with questions and computer literacy courses to enable you to be successful. At the end of the two year degree, it is the intent of the NAF to assist E-Learning Intitiative participants in locating a 4-year college to transfer to, to complete their education in the United States. It should bee noted that there are a number of factors which can interfere with this reality, and these should be considered as participants move forward. Admission to the four year university is dependent upon academic performance and other factors which are not controlled by the NAF. In addition, the potential reality of a denial of a Student Visa by the US Government exists. Should these issues arise, the NAF will also be making efforts to partner with universities in Ghana to absorb those students, who through no fault of their own, are unable to obtain access to the 4-year university in the United States.

After consideration of these potential realities, you wish to enter into the partnership with the NAF, we welcome the opportunity to serve you. The next step is to pay the one time fee via Pay Pal. Again, once payment is confirmed, you will be contacted with further instructions. NAF Collaborates With MKFC to Launch 1st eTT in Ghana PDF Print E-mail
Written by webmaster
Saturday, 29 November 2008
The ED, on his second trip to Ghana in less than three months, led a delegation of MKFC/Stockholm College-NAF team to meet with the directors of Ghana's Teacher Training  Education of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports (MoESS) in Accra on Tuesday, November 11, 2009.

As a result of the meeting, MKFC/Stockholm College together with National Africa Foundation (NAF) have launched the first eTeacher Training pilot scheme with three selected teacher training colleges in Ghana. These are Wesley College and the St. Louis College of Education in Kumasi and the Presbyterian Teachers College at Kibi in the Eastern Region..

The five-month pilot training programme of twenty students each shall be drawn from pupil teachers in the entire country through an advertisement in the nation's news media. Apart from the passion to be a teacher, applicants should be computer literate with access to the Internet. The scheme hopes to take off in early 2009. If successful, the training would be made available to several hundreds of students who are interested in training to become teachers in Ghana. MKFC provides other courses in tourism, sustainable development, International Computer Driving License (ICDL) and many more. Interested students should send email to MKFC at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with a copy to NAF at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
